    Program

    Currently there are three programs running.

    1.  Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Industrial and Production Engieering

    2.  Master’s by Coursework, Master’s by Mixed Mode, Master’s by Research (MSc. Engineering) in Industrial and Production Engieering

    3.  Doctoral by Research (Ph.D) in Industrial and Production Engineering

    • Undergraduate

      BSc. in Industrial and Production Engineering. A student requires minimum of 160 credit to complete for graduation.

    • Graduate

      Master’s by Coursework  in Industrial and Production Engineering: 

      • Graduates with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant Discipline from SUST are eligible to apply for the Master’s by Coursework program. 

      • The candidate for this program must submit the following documents: (i) application in the prescribed form, (ii) academic transcript, and (iii) consent letter from the employer, if applicable.

      • A student requires 40 credits in a minimum of 2 semesters to complete the Masters degree.

      Master’s by Mixed Mode  in Industrial and Production Engineering:

      • Graduates with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant Discipline from SUST or any other university or equivalent foreign university, with a minimum CGPA of 3.00, are eligible to apply for the Master's by Mixed Mode program.
      • A candidate with a Bachelor's degree in engineering from a university or institution other than SUST, who has completed 160 credits as his/her degree requirements with a minimum CGPA of 3.00, is eligible to apply for the Master's by Mixed Mode program.
      • The candidate applied for this program must submit the following documents: (i) application in the prescribed form, (ii) academic transcript, (iii) a research proposal, (iv) one reference letter, (v) consent letter from a potential Supervisor, and (vi) consent letter from the employer, wherever applicable.
      • A student requires 48 credits in a minimum of 3 semesters to complete the Masters degree.
         

      MPhil

      Master’s by Research (M.Sc. Engineering)  in Industrial and Production Engineering:

      • Graduates with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant Discipline from SUST or any other university or equivalent foreign university, with a minimum CGPA of 3.00, are eligible to apply for the Master's by Research program.
      • A candidate with a Bachelor's degree in engineering from a university or institution other than SUST, who has completed 160 credits as his/her degree requirements with a minimum CGPA of 3.00, is eligible to apply for the Master's by Research program.

      Ph. D.

      Doctoral by Research (Ph.D) in Industrial and Production Engineering:

      • Eligibility criteria for the PhD program are given in the Graduate Program Ordinance approved by A.C., which is available at our SUST website.
      • A student requires 72 credits in a minimum of 6 semesters to complete the PhD degree.
